KKR are Releasing Carlos Brathwaite, Ferguson Before IPL 2020 Auction

The next edition of Indian Premier League is far off but franchises are expected to make a few changes in the squad before the auction for the next season. Kolkata Knight Riders are releasing Carlos Brathwaite and Lockie Ferguson prior to the auction for the next season of Indian Premier League (2020). In IPL 2019 both players did not have a great run.

In the previous edition, KKR was bought Lockie Ferguson at Rs. 1.6 Crores. But Ferguson had a poor run in the tournament. He was played five matches and given 183 runs at an economy rate of 10.76. Due to poor bowling of KKR team, they did not qualify for playoffs.

Carlos Brathwaite that was purchased by the franchise Kolkata Knight Riders for a price of Rs 5 Crores. But KKR was given chance in only two matches in the season. Brathwaite got to play just 10 balls and bowled just three overs.
