Star Sports is the official broadcaster of IPL – Indian Premier League 2020 in India and its subcontinent countries (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal). Star India has bagged IPL media rights after paying amount INR 16347.50 crores for a period of five years from 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. They have all rights of TV and OTT (Audio, Video and other media services via the internet).

Indian Premier League – VIVO IPL 2020 will also be streamed live on Hotstar digital platform that includes official website and application. Star India has officially announced that Hotstar now also available in the United Kingdom, and IPL 2020 all matches will broadcast online on the Hotstar digital platform for the fans of IPL. Hotstar subscription is available in two packages of annually and monthly. Indian Premier League T20 2020 will telecast in the United Kingdom on Hotstar UK, and Star Gold UK that has also rights to cover all matches of IPL 2020 in the UK.

The national broadcaster DD Sports will cover some cricket matches of the Indian Premier League – IPL 2019. Doordarshan (DD) will broadcast live coverage of the IPL 2020 match per week, with the one-hour delay.

VIVO Indian Premier League – IPL 2020 will broadcast in the India and subcontinents on the Star India Network that will cover via seven languages. The languages are English, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada and Marathi.

The IPL – Indian Premier League 2020 will be no live broadcaster in Pakistan. BCCB has banned to Pakistan to telecast live coverage of Indian Premier League 2020 via Pakistani TV channels. Channel 9 has acquired rights to broadcast live coverage of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 in Bangladesh.

Cricket fans that want to watch live Indian Premier League – VIVO IPL 2020 in the United States, Willow TV has rights to telecast live coverage of IPL 2020 in the United States, and SuperSport will stream live IPL (Indian Premier League) in South Africa: all matches will live-streamed on the SuperSport digital platform Application and Website. Cricket viewers in the USA can watch IPL 2020 live in the USA on Willow TV and Sky Sports will cover IPL in the United Kingdom.
