Cricket fans are likely to be waiting for August 18 for the 8th season of the CPL will commence in Trinidad & Tobago. Thirty-three matches of CPL will be played under stick COVID-19-related guidelines to ensure the optimum health of everyone involved. Due to some reason that all the games will be played at only two venues Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain and Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba.

The Action will begin at 19:30 IST and 3 pm UK time on 18 August (Tuesday). The opening match will be playing between three-times champion Trinbago Knight Riders and five-times finalist Guyana Amazon Warriors. After the clash of 30 group games, four teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

TV: The Star Network will be broadcast the live streaming of the 8th season of CPL in India. In the recent years, matches being played in West Indies were telecast on Sony Network in India. However, Star has bagged a two-year deal to telecast CPL games in the sub-continent.

Online users can stream the matches on Star Network’s streaming application named Disney+Hotstar. With CPL also announcing Dream11’s FanCode as its digital streaming partner, Indian Fans will also be able to watch all matches on that platform.
